spend的主语必须是人，有固定短语搭配。比如某人做某事花了多长时间或者是多少钱，或者是某人在某一事情上花费了多长时间/金钱。可以是动词也可以是名词。

1.sb spend time/money on sth

比如，This assignment is so difficult that I have to spend at least three hours on it. (这个作业太难了让我不得不花最少三个小时才能完成它)

2.sb spend time/money (in) doing sth

比如，Chinese are so success on infrastructure construction that they only spent eight hours dismanteling the overhead bridge.(中国人在基础设施建设上非常成功以至于只花了八个小时就把立交桥给拆除了)

3. spend money for sth愿意为什么花钱

比如，My money was spent for buying some fresh flowers.(我的钱花在买鲜花上了)

另，spend 还可以作为名词，指代在某一事情上的花销、花费与开销。

比如，The average spend in KFC is at least thirty dollars.(肯德基的人均消费最少三十澳币)

money的用法好像比较简单，一般是问，什么东西多少钱或者是挣了多少钱。比如，How much money did you spend yesterday？（昨天你花了多少钱）或者是，How much money do you earn per month？（你每个月挣多少钱？）

money: 钱;薪水;资金;钞票

1.We have to work within severe constraints of time and money. 我们必须在时间紧迫、资金紧张的限制下工作。

spend: 花费;度过;花销;开销

1.Stores spend more and more on crime prevention every year. 商店每年在防止犯罪方面的花费越来越多。
